This agreement is between you and the Oblivion team ("we"), who runs Oblivion. By creating an account, playing or buying anything you accept it, together with the Server Rules and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Oblivion.
1. About Oblivion
Oblivion is an independent, fan-made private game server. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to CipSoft GmbH or the official game Tibia. All names and trademarks belong to their owners.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, or have a parent's or guardian's consent.
- Give a working email address. You are responsible for keeping your password and recovery key secret, and for everything done with your account.
- The account and everything in it is a personal license to use our service. You may not sell, buy, trade, share or lend accounts, characters, items or gold for real money or anything else outside the official shop. Accounts involved in such trades can be blocked.
- We will never ask for your password. Staff members are listed on the Support Team page.
3. Rules and fair play
You must follow the Server Rules. In particular, bots, macros, modified clients, cheating tools, abusing bugs and exploits, and attacks on the server or other players are forbidden. Report bugs instead of using them.
4. Sanctions
If you break this agreement or the rules, we may warn you, mute you, remove items, gold or progress gained unfairly, reset or delete characters, and block accounts temporarily or permanently. Cheats and bots may be detected automatically. Serious cases can lead to a permanent block without warning. Purchases are not refunded when an account is blocked for breaking the rules. If you think a sanction was wrong, contact us at [email protected].
5. Virtual items and premium services
- Premium time, outfits, items, shop points and everything else in the game are digital content. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use them in Oblivion while your account is in good standing. They are not your property and have no value outside the game.
- Virtual items and points cannot be exchanged back into real money, and cannot be transferred to other accounts unless the game offers it.
- Premium time runs continuously from activation, also when you are not playing.
- To keep the game balanced and working, we may change, rebalance or fix items, outfits and features. If a bug or rollback affects something you bought, we restore it or give you something of equal value.
6. Purchases
- Prices are shown in the shop before you buy and include VAT where it applies. Payment is made through the payment provider shown at checkout.
- Purchases are delivered to your account immediately after payment.
- Right of withdrawal: as a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content that is delivered immediately, this right ends when delivery starts. At checkout you will be asked to agree to immediate delivery and to confirm that you then lose the right of withdrawal. If something you bought was not delivered or does not work, contact us and we will fix it or refund you.
- Players under 18 need permission from a parent or guardian to buy anything.
- If a payment is reversed, charged back or turns out to be fraudulent, the account may be blocked until the matter is settled.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Oblivion online, but we cannot promise that it is always available or free of errors. There are daily server saves, maintenance and occasional unplanned downtime. In rare cases (for example after a crash or an exploit) we may have to roll the game world back to an earlier state. If we ever decide to close Oblivion for good, we will announce it at least 30 days in advance and stop selling immediately; purchases made in the 30 days before that announcement are refunded on request.
8. Liability
Oblivion is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost game progress or items, or damage caused by downtime, rollbacks or other players. Nothing in this agreement limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law, or our liability for intent or gross negligence.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your account at [email protected]. Unused premium time, points or items are not refunded when you delete your account yourself. We can end the agreement under section 4 or when Oblivion closes under section 7.
10. Changes to this agreement
We may update this agreement. Important changes are announced in the news at least 14 days before they apply. If you keep playing after that, the new version applies. Purchases already made follow the version that applied when you bought them.
11. Law and disputes
Swedish law applies. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in. Please contact us first so we can solve the problem together. Consumers in Sweden can also turn to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN, arn.se).
